The acid burning and cold terror was suffocating him, eating him alive as memories poured into the once empty darkness: a woman having her eyes burned out, a man having his legs twisted like corkscrews, a little girl having her bones broken one by one…
The Inner Sanctum was coated in the bloody slime, pulsating like something come alive, and he was trapped in the middle of it all, like when the nightmare had first started seemingly eons

Boredom spawns stupid pranksOne fine day, I got bored and decided to ask my best friend, Esther, for something to do. A few minutes into the conversation and some lemon squares got our imaginations flowing like melted butter as they discussed everything under(or above, away from, to the left of, etc.) the sun.

In one turn of it, we were discussing some pranks to play on our current enemy, the Champion of Chaos and his Chaos Lords.

"You know, for some reason, I want to paint Drakath's armor bright pink. He'd go ballistic." I said. Esther looked up with a grin.

"Go on, do it. I'd love to see his face when he wakes up. Oh, and can you bring back Vath as well?" She asked

Worked on it for three days straight, and I still didn't finish in time for Halloween. Ah, well, at least it's really pretty.

(Aaaaand, as much as I like being inspired, my muse really needs to learn how to ration it rather than leaving me dry for months and then dumping a load of it in three days.)

Also, first colored thing in my gallery for ages. Whoopa!

(I realize I'm a failure at snake tails. At least it's a learning experience. Oh, and ignore the weird blue thing up there; there was something on my scanner and I don't really feel like fixing it after devoting so much time to it.)

Disclaimer: I don't actually even own the concept-- I borrowed the idea of a lamia mage from someone's ID that I saw ages ago, and if someone could point out the original artist for me, that'd really be great.

I did, however, painstakingly sketch, ink and paint this picture.

But I don't own Warlic. Or DragonFable. They belong to AE. Ye be warned; it's prolly a good thing I don't. XD
